On-campus options Many departments, schools and colleges have poster-printing capabilities, which may save you a considerable amount of money on printing costs. However, many of these locations will only print posters for their own students. If your department, school or college doesn’t have poster-printing capabilities, don’t fret! Below are other options that students have used. School of Earth Sciences, Mendenhall Laboratory, 125 South Oval Mall. Cost is $25 ($15 for School of Earth Sciencesfdjklsgjdlkj; students) for b/w or color poster on 42-inch-wide photobase (glossy) paper. Primarily serves students in MAPS. Three day’s notice required; consider a full week’s notice before Denman. Contact Brent Curtiss at curtiss.3@osu.edu. Thompson Library OIT Computer Lab, room 160. Color or b/w, up to $7.35/poster. Max poster size is 36”x48.” Primarily a self-serve operation; staff may be on hand for assistance. Find info on specs and cost-per-size breakdown here. UniPrint at Tuttle Park Place, 2055 Millikin Way, located in the Tuttle Garage, 292-2219. $8/square foot. Student must provide poster setup.
Off-campus options FedEx Office (formerly FedEx Kinko’s), $7/square foot. Please convert poster to PDF before printing. Various locations. Allow 24 to 48 hours for project completion. The PosterXpress website offers useful tips, design considerations, and templates for poster production. Upload files directly to the website.
